Lexi is pro's pro; always mindful of her adoring fans even though she doesn't have the best of time

Another five birdie round for So Yeon for minus three. I was glad to see that after the double bogey, she finished with two birdies. So she didn't hang her head and think "woe is me". Finish strong and on to the next tournament. It's uncanny that So Yeon and Lexi shot the same scores every day for 3 days; they're paired together the last round.

re: the rules controversy. So the reason they didn't get a penalty is that they meant well? That they only get the penalty if they purposely tried to use the balls on the green to their advantage? The heck? If that's true, this rule will literally never come into play. Ariya and Olson got away with one there. I watched it live and it never occurred to me that this was anything other than a lucky backstop. It wasn't until Detective Shackleford and his ilk got their knickers in a bunch that anybody thought otherwise. Thankfully, Shack is an expert on what goes on in the nefarious minds of those cheaters Ariya and Amy, and is there to set all us saps straight. Note to the Golf Industrial Complex: If you're not going to cover the women's game other than self-righteous indignation when you find a "fishy" youtube clip, then stick to the men. They're the ones behaving badly, especially lately. The real scandal is why Foltz drew the short straw and had to do the 2am commercial wraparounds on the live feed last night. [ Don't get me wrong: the rule seems stupid. How likely is it someone can purposely set up a play to bounce off a ball into the cup? And if so, how likely will he/she will admit it? Right, completely unlikely. But if it is a rule, it should be enforced, stupid though it seems to be.

We were well aware of that rule in tournament play. Intent or not you were given a penalty if you broke it. It was called protecting the field, the same as any other rule violation.
The only time that it was legal if you were partners in a tournament or in a pot game for that matter. Many times we used our partner's ball next to the hole to hole out.

I didn't feel like staying up to watch this...the Yangster picked up her 4th win. Minjee had a putt to tie and left it about an inch short.

philknj Did you read the story about Jessica Korda's boyfriend? What a distraction to the Korda family? Hope Nelly have better luck with Ryan Ruffels!

I treasure my memory of 2016 when In Gee battled Lexi futilely.
Sad thing is that both are in their prime and both have done zilch since 2017.
Thinking about Jessica Korda, can't help but to wonder whether both In Gee and Lexi have been bothered by relationship or emotional issues!

Didn't hear about this, had to look it up.
I saw JK tee off at #1 during Round Two of the 2013 USWO at Sebonack...superb swing for a tall player...the kind of swing Wie should have had. Unfortunately, I was not there Saturday to see the drama of JK canning her loop Jason Gilroyed mid-round and putting Dum Dum on the bag for the rest of the week.

Good to see lots of TV time for jtibs. No on-camera interviews though unfortunately. When it became obvious she wouldn't win, Jenny clearly threw all her support behind Amy. Had to help in keeping Amy calm to bring the trophy home. Satisfying ending. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bs7XIJhF_Mz

Congratulation to Amy Yang for surviving the birdie fest. Anyway a win is a win, no matter how the course is setup. Kudos: To Minjee Lee, Jenny Shin and Eun -Hee Ji for top fives.
Not a very good tournament for So Yeon Ryu and Jin Young Ko. But not a bad tournament either.
