Unlike Diamond Resorts TOC, hope a few players will rise to the occasion and challenge Eun Hee Ji!
Nothing against Ji; but LPGA should be good enough to give her a run for the money.

Shin Ji Eun was bagging Titleist T-MB irons at the start of 2018, but now has the Titleist AP-2 set (2018 version). Muni He Bogey-par-double finish ...she should make Smokeshow's brother clean the club.

Round 2
Well, not so great a second round for the top Koreans. So Yeon shot a 71, Jin Young a 73, In Gee a 73... Sung Hyun got to 5 under, then made a late double bogey. Ouch!
However, the leaderboard still has the Sisters well represented at the top! Jenny makes a late birdie to take the lead, Eun Hee didn't play all that well but hung on to a tie for second, and Minjee and Danielle are still in the hunt. But the player I'm keeping an eye on is Amy Yang. Nice run to get onto the leaderboard. She has won this one twice, so she clearly likes playing here. Can she make it a three-fer? Go Amy!
Still hoping that So Yeon, In Gee and/or Jin Young can make a run on the weekend for a decent finish. Good time to work out the kinks before HSBC!
Sisters Hwaiting!
Jenny Shin
Eun Hee Ji
Amy Yang
Minjee Lee
Jin Young Ko -- too bad she's playing so badly, this is a rocking outfit!
Sung Hyun Park
In Gee Chun -- we did get to see one highlight on TV when she hit it close for a birdie on 16 (?)
Hyo Joo Kim
Chella Choi
Sei Young Kim
Jennifer Song
Muni He

The good news is that So Yeon had five birdies. However she had four bogeys to erase four of the birdies. Baby steps, first tournament second round. Jin Young had another subpar round. They are paired together the third round, which is good news. So they can compare notes of what went wrong the first two days.

The MMM's, Mostly Men's Media, comes out of the woodwork once again for an LPGA rules controversy.
Mmm, smell those clicks.

These walking interviews are great. I hope Foltzy isn't in the Golf Channel breakroom grabbing another bag of Cheetos during this. He should take note for when he's back walking the course in the US.

re: the rules controversy. So the reason they didn't get a penalty is that they meant well? That they only get the penalty if they purposely tried to use the balls on the green to their advantage? The heck? If that's true, this rule will literally never come into play. Ariya and Olson got away with one there. I watched it live and it never occurred to me that this was anything other than a lucky backstop. It wasn't until Detective Shackleford and his ilk got their knickers in a bunch that anybody thought otherwise. Thankfully, Shack is an expert on what goes on in the nefarious minds of those cheaters Ariya and Amy, and is there to set all us saps straight. Note to the Golf Industrial Complex: If you're not going to cover the women's game other than self-righteous indignation when you find a "fishy" youtube clip, then stick to the men. They're the ones behaving badly, especially lately. The real scandal is why Foltz drew the short straw and had to do the 2am commercial wraparounds on the live feed last night. [

I do think Aryia has to do a better job of protecting the field than that. Anybody else has a right to be upset. My opinion.
Does anybody write more HARD HITTING takes on the LPGA than Shackleford? Literally every mention or article is right into the storm of controversy. He’s up there with the Apollo astronaut crew in braveness and temerity.

HappyFanHope springs eternal is all right for So Yeon and Jin Young. In Gee will need more than hope; she's played like a Mo Martin that can't hit the ball straight. The ways she's going; she won't be in Top 8 on 2020 Olympics qualification. She needs to use her own head, not Dr. Won Park's; and seriously does something different.

I saw the incident live. By strict interpretation of the rule, both players had to be guilty of this "conspiracy" for a penalty to kick in...the thought of Ariya being devious in a split second after not marking her ball is ABSURD.

Porter weighed in. That guy doesn’t cover women’s golf almost as a rule, but he’s feeding at the buffet.

Another five birdie round for So Yeon for minus three. I was glad to see that after the double bogey, she finished with two birdies. So she didn't hang her head and think "woe is me". Finish strong and on to the next tournament.

The winning score is probably -20 or playoff at -19; can Nelly Korda channel Jessica of 2018 and shoots a -8?
It's been a good tournament with many players playing well; good chance of a playoff.
