What a surprise, A Yean Cho is also on the final qualification list LPGA must be on her future plan. The Australian events commonly feature a few KLPGA regulars and up-and-coming Koreans, mainly because it's pre-season for them. I recall Lucky Six playing some events there last year. I would expect that Ayean Cho is thinking about the LPGA in her future, but probably not for a few years. Australia has a massive heat wave right now. I hear it might get over 110 degrees there. I sure hope it cools down before the event(s).

They added Beef to the men's side:
****************
Only three women will be picked as qualifiers on Monday from two locations. Is it two players from one course and one player from another? Or is it best score regardless of location? The qualifier fact sheet doesn't say. I'll take a guess at the three names who will qualify (will need a miracle to get one of them right):
Jing Yan Patricia Sanz Barrio (saw her at Valley Forge last year) Doey Choi
Victoria Fricot, a past washout at JLPGA q-school, will also try to qualify. She also bombed during the recent ALPG q-school (+24 over three rounds), but has other qualities that might earn her a sponsor exemption.

tonyj5Good point, but I'm not optimistic. She got invited to Women's Australian Open; may be that's good enough for her.

Kristen Gillman isn't on LPGA or ALPG's final field list; but we may be pleasantly surprised.
