Ok..I am becoming interested. More of my favorites are in it. Youngin Chun , Nana Koerstz Madsen, Belen Mozo, Paula Creamer, Su Oh and Haeji Kang. However only Paula will probably be shown the first two days. I hope the others can play well enough to make the weekend coverage.
Changed it before someone else proof reads it for me.

Youngin is spending a whole month in Australia to prepare for these two events. She is still on alternates list for Women's Australian Open.

SoYeonFan It's Youngin Chun, as in In Gee Chun. Ok, so I misspelled her name. I followed her before she hit her first shot as a professional. I didn't Know that this was a spelling exam. I bet everyone knew who I meant but you.

Maybe going to Shop-Rite/Acer is new for Sirak this year...either that, or he's been there before, spending 99% of his time hanging around Leo's master, the Giraffe and the ECP...in that case, our paths would rarely cross.

Another thing that happened because of the higher ranked players skipping this tournament. The players at the bottom of the Priority list got an opportunity to play. They get a chance to improve their standing, get a start on the money list. Who knows, one of them could get hot and even win the tournament. They all are very good golfers, if not they wouldn't have their LPGA cards.
Phil has a good point about Mi-Hyang Lee skipping the tournament. Because she is capable of winning it. Which will take the pressure off the rest of the year.
On the other hand some higher ranked players are there, for the easy money.

It's interesting with all the Race to CME Globe promotions; the one thing that's real important is official money.
The priority list is based on official money; as is exemption list to any tournaments, including all majors.
It's important to be inside No. 55 in official money; that assures a player to qualify for all tournaments (assuming no TOC from now on).

Whoever did that IG posting above hasn't looked at the Vic Open field list at lpga.com ... the Old Ko is not on it.

I just noticed that there are players from the JLPGA invited to the ISP Honda. They don't usually go to many tournaments out side of the JLPGA.
There are spots still held for invites and qualifiers for the ISP. So Youngin can get in the tournament in one of those spots. Also the winner of the Vic gets in. However she may be a little nervous in her first LPGA tournament. She really started slow in her first three Symetra Tour Tournaments. By missing early cuts, but she finished the year really good. But who knows, playing the Symetra Tour may have given her confidence. That she can compete at a high level moving forward. She sure has prepared for it.
