Unfortunately, he won't be around to play with big sis Minjee at the Vic Open next month...he'll be in Panama. He earned limited status on the Web.com tour for 2019, so IMG will run him around the globe to make up for that. Playing a few Web.com Monday qualifiers is also a possibility.

I can tell that Minwoo will be the same scintillating interview that his sister is.

PGA golfers are the luckiest people on earth; they can count on long and prosperous careers if they're good enough and are healthy.
The same isn't true with women golfers; whose child bearing responsibilities make everything a little be more complicated. Also, the earning potential is different.

I'm sure you can say the same thing about Minjee. I don't blame either of them for being extra cautious when talking to the press or doing social media.

Are there any other notable brother-sister pro golf combos? I recall the Kuehnes once upon a time. Anyone more recent?

How can you forget D. Kang and Alex Kang? Oh, what about your favorite, Lexi...Curtis Thompson is a pro and she might have another brother who is a pro, too. Ai Miyazato's brother has played the Masters recently and I think she has another brother who is a pro. Going way back, there was Ray and Marlene Floyd.

I remembered Thompson and Kang, but the brothers aren't really top flight, are they? Min Woo isn't at this point, either, but let's give him a chance to see what he can do. Didn't know about Miyazato.

Min Woo bombed out in Panama last week, but is T-16 after Round One in Perth. I don't know where he's going after this...the field in Oman (Feb. 28 - March 3) is not final yet.

Minwoo seems to be saying that he has secured a Euro Tour card for the rest of the season (made about $313K USD in 9 tournaments), although his access may be limited to the smaller events. He didn't play the Irish Open, he's not in the field for the Scottish Open and it looks like he didn't qualify for the British Open. He has two trunk slams on the Korn Ferry tour this season.
