I will put this up in case someone notable decides to show up. Anyway the nice golfer with the great smile, Maddie Szeryk won the tournament. I hate that I wasn't able to go there to follow her. Stephanie Meadows who is 99th on 'LPGA Priority List' finished third.

Maddie stopped to pose for a pic I took in Bedminster in 2017...too bad she trunk slammed.
The Cactur Tour website has no pics posted yet, but I found this instead:

Alena Sharp made a pit stop at the Cactus Tour this week. She had a fourth place finish which will give her around one thousand dollars.
The next Tournament, February 4~6 has some familiar names. Veronica Felibert was on the USC Trojan golf team with Belen Mozo. Played a few tournaments on the LPGA. But most of her time has been spent on the Symetra Tour, with not much success. Other notables registered to play, Clariss Guce, Sophia Popov, Emily Tubert and Yealimi Noh.

Thanks, SoYeonFanYealimi needs to contend; otherwise her LPGA ambition will be in danger.

We have been complaining about the inequality of purses between LPGA and PGA.
This is an eye opener, the entire Cactus Tour purse for 2018 was $370,000.
On the other hand; it's really nice for those sponsors to come out with the beef.

I read from SoYeonFan that So Yeon got her first win from Cactus Tour. Time for Yealimi to show that she's for real.

Can't find Cactus Tour on Wikipedia; someone needs to write one to authenticate the tour.

I'm sure Popov and Guce would rather be in Australia to play Vic Open; both of them are more qualified than many ALPG members who'll be playing.
Such is the life of lower echelon LPGA members; I'll know more about it through Yealimi's trials and tribulations.

Jaclyn Lee finished 6th last week; she's in final fields for both Vic Open and Women's Australian Open.

In Taiwan, Dr. Noh outplayed Beth Allen, Tiff Chan, Ran Hong, Min Song Ha, Florentyna Parker and Pannarat T. Anywhere outside of a top-4 finish at Wigwam Red would be a complete humiliation. BTW, she'll play the Cactus Tour in Beaumont, CA on Feb. 26 thru 28.
Sophia Popov showed me skill and guts at her 2016 USWO qualifier at Canoe Brook, where she tied for low-medalist with Peiyun Chien. If that's the player who shows up next week, she'll mop up and wring out the scrubs in this field.
