A true legend Karrie Webb considers playing more LPGA events with eye on advancing women’s gameInstead, she’s committed to eight to 10 events in 2019, maybe more if she qualifies for additional late-season starts. Webb still has the game to compete on the LPGA. She tied for second at the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open in 2017. But her presence on tour carries weight that travels far deeper than scores.

I used to play Torrey Pines North and South Courses once a year. But the green fees kept going up, too much for my liking. My first time playing I was shocked. To the difference in distance the course played at Sea Level. Compared to playing in Arizona's thin air. My drives were much shorter . Also had to play at least two or three clubs longer for approach shots.

SoYeonFan Torrey Pines South is notorious for playing long. I'm surprised your drive differences is much shorter. It's probably not the elevation, because Phoenix's elevation is only about 1,100 feet. May be the fairway doesn't roll as much as in the desert and the sea air is denser.

I remember her, she seemed like she was going to be a big deal and then just disappeared. Now we know what happened!
