In case it wasn't known, Yujeong Son has turned pro and signed with management company Bravo and New in Korea. The 18-year-old has snagged a Volvik sponsorship as well. She will be playing on the Symetra Tour this year. She's in the field at this week's iSky event.
While looking up Nayeon Eum, I discovered a golf apparel brand I never heard of before, Talking Tom Golf … it's based on a YouTube animated series "Talking Tom and Friends". Along with Eum, this appears to be their current team:
A 15-second Adidas spot...I don't know when or where they got Shin Ae Ahn, D. Kang and J. Korda together on the same course. The Pink One is also in the commercial, but is not seen with the other players. FYI, Sharon received an invite to the AXA Ladies Golf Tournament in Miyazaki (March 29-31).
McCol is sponsoring a few ladies on tour this year. McCol is a Korean barley-based soda. Sounds dreadful, but it's cool that they are supporting the KLPGA!
Bo Bea Kim; she looks like she just tried her sponsor's product
True, but it beats sampling one of Lucky Six's main sponsor products.
Nice to see one of the KLPGA oldsters, Seul Ah Yoon (turned 33 this week), land on her feet with a new sponsor...she had been with Fine Technix forever. She's one of the rare Korean bosses that did not displease Larry the Looper. Can she stick around on this tour long enough to hit 40? Are there ANY 40-somethings on this tour now? I doubt it.
