Tough day for Miss Oh, maybe her left ankle and calf were really injured. . .Min Ji still in her winning ways in tie for lead at -5, Hye Jin, the third member of the group, finished -2. . .
Watched a little of this, but I fell asleep. Ji Hyun seemed to be off; her approaches were all a lot farther from the hole than her playing partners, and her putting was not precise either. It looked like she was affected by cold medicine; she seemed a bit unfocused.
T1 Ji Hyun Lee 3, Min Ji Park, Ji Young Park, Hyun Kyung Park, Shin Young Park -5 67 T6 Eun Soo Jang, Eun Bin Lim, Min Kyung Choi -4 68 T9 Min Sung Ha, KOH Sock Hwee, Ka Ram Choi, Uree Jun -3 69
Notables: T13 Da Yeon Lee, Hye Jin Choi -2 70 T20 Ji Hyun Kim, So Young Lee -1 71 T27 A Lim Kim, Ran Hong, Seung Hyun Lee, Cecilia Cho, Ayean Cho (R) Even 72 T44 Char Young Kim, Ji Hyun Oh +1 73 T64 Ha Na Jang +3 75
I could only watch about an hour and a half myself. Ji Hyun Oh putting was off, but it was the first day.
Hye Jin Choi started front nine with three birdies. I thought that this would be another great first round for her. But she had one bogey and no birdies on the back nine.
A Lim Kim was the opposite with three bogeys front nine. Four birdies and one bogey back nine, for even par.
Good start for 2017 Rookie of The Year Eun Soo Jang, -4.
I assume the top-60 plus ties make the cut, which is currently +2. I'm impressed that Pajaree Anannarukarn's management company got her into this event. It's two months until her LPGA debut in Australia, but she's not using that time goofing off...shot 72 (E) in Round One. When I saw her at Valley Forge, she had "the look" of a heavily sponsored pro...the attire, the gear, the logos...she's got her s--t together and she's going places, that was my impression. I assume she'll get an invite to the Honda LPGA Thailand.

I'll have to keep my eyes open for the 14th tee box...Hee Jeong Lim is in front of advertising Friday for exotic Japanese Golf brand Katana (similar to Maruman)...not sure about the rest...don't know about AXA Golf and I guess that's a box of Bridgestone balls.
