Finally, maybe it will speed up rounds.
I doubt it...they'll use the extra time to pat down every spike mark on the green (real or imaginary).

Mi Hyang opened with seven straight pars today...I'm not used to that.

Team Volvik had a conference meeting last night:

Jin Young Kim? (did anyone catch that error at the end of the clip?)
The New Ko Kim is tied for DFL after five holes while playing partner So Yeon Yoon is -1 thru five holes.

I'm not surprised Jin Young is a bit distracted. She has a big speech to give tonight in English. Whatever happens, it's been a great year for her. This tournament has not been that good to the Sisters, and not surprisingly, a bunch of them are over par already. Ah well, I'll keep my fingers crossed I'll have something interesting to watch this week.

This must be a new record; In Gee, Sung Hyun and Jin Young have played a combined 23 holes without a single birdie.
It's windy; but the other players have plenty of birdies.

I wonder what're the issues In Gee has at Tiburon Golf Course; she's +2 after 11, and last year she's par or worse for all 4 rounds.
It's to be the texture of the grass on the greens.

Like the In Gee of old; she birdied her final hole 18th to get to even for the day.

Apparently there are separate streams for the arrivals and the awards. This one is for the awards, starting at 7:05pm ET.

Rookie of the year is +7 through 16; she must be only 8 years old the last time she shot that kind of score.

Open mic left on the stream after signoff:
GANNON: Nice job, Judy. You got a future in this business.
JUDY: Gee thanks, Terry. (rustling sounds taking mic off)
DIRECTOR: Hold on guys! You gotta do a spot for Golf Central.
GANNON: Aw geez, just when I thought we were gonna get outta here.

I watched the online broadcast on and off...except for Kerr finishing at #9 with a par putt and T. Joh much later, I don't think they showed any of the players who started the day at the 10th hole. The ECP rolled in a birdie putt from the fringe at #18 for a 73 and reacted like she had a wad of spoiled tuna fish in her mouth.
