I was hoping to watch only the first hour, because So Yeon would be shown on Golf Channel stream. Because of the delay I didn't watch any. Unless So Yeon or Jin Young get in the top five early they won't be shown. So I will watch the KLPGA and Golf Channel replay. Great to see Min Sun5 Kim have a great round. She has been in a slump, lately.

The conditions have been brutal in round 3. Some huge collapses. Hye Jin Choi shot a 78, while my teen fave Da Been Heo is 8 over for the day and getting worse.
I was interested in seeing how the amateur would fare, but she has also fallen apart, 4 over par in round 3 at this point.
He Yong Choi has somehow put together three straight birdies and taken a three shot lead over Min Sun Kim. EDIT: four straight now. Four shot lead. I have no idea how she alone has been able to deal with these conditions.

It was virtually dark by the time the final group finished. Min Sun made a hash of the final hole, hitting a terrible approach and duffing her chip. Somehow the amateur made birdie on the last hole, though. Seriously: watching the video, I could barely make out what was happening, and it was probably even darker in reality.

It's ironic that He Yong Choi is having one of her best tournaments. While So Yeon who she beat out for the KLPGA ..Rookie of the year.. is having her worst. They also share the same sponsor, to add to the irony.
Then there is soon to be KLPGA ..Rookie of The Year ..Hye Jin Choi shoots seventy eight. One more than So Yeon's seventy seven.
Ju Young Pak, Hee Young Park's sister continue to have her best year.
Ok! Ha Na Jang shot seventy nine to win the bad round prize. She is minus ten for the tournament.
An unusual week for Pro golfers.

He Yong Choi has gotten off to a bad start after five holes. Two bogeys and a double to fall two off the lead of Min Sun5 Kim.

Round 4 Wow, who saw this coming? 'Living Doll of the Fairways' Gyeol Park has been a popular player since she joined the tour several years ago, but today she rallied from way back to earn her first career KLPGA victory. I mean WAY back. Da Yeon Lee and Seon Woo Bae both had great charges from the rear themselves, but neither was able to steal the win from Park. He Yong Choi, day three's leader by three shots, collapsed to a 77 to pave the way for the upset. Park gained *eleven* shots on Choi on the final day. That has to be one of the all time greatest comebacks in KLPGA history. Congrats to Gyeol Park! 1 Gyeol Park - 6 70(11) 74(46) 72(8) 66(2) 282 T2 Da Yeon Lee - 5 69(5) 71(15) 78(56) 65(1) 283 - Seon Woo Bae - 5 71(18) 68(3) 75(29) 69(6) 283 T4 Ju Young Park - 4 71(18) 70(6) 73(18) 70(14) 284 - Ji Young Kim 2 - 4 73(40) 70(6) 69(2) 72(34) 284 - Min Sun Kim 5 - 4 71(18) 67(2) 73(18) 73(44) 284 T7 Ka Ram Choi - 3 72(26) 73(35) 71(4) 69(6) 285 - Ji Hyun Kim - 3 72(26) 72(23) 72(8) 69(6) 285 - He Yong Choi - 3 70(11) 70(6) 68(1) 77(67) 285 T10 Hye Sun Kim 2 - 2 72(26) 73(35) 72(8) 69(6) 286 - Ji Yoon Kim (R) - 2 73(40) 70(6) 76(44) 67(3) 286 - Ji Hyun Kim 2 - 2 69(5) 72(23) 75(29) 70(14) 286 - Eun Soo Jang - 2 72(26) 72(23) 72(8) 70(14) 286 - Su Yeon Jang - 2 68(3) 72(23) 73(18) 73(44) 286 - A Lim Kim - 2 67(1) 75(62) 74(23) 70(14) 286 Notables: T28 Seung Hyun Lee + 2 73(40) 70(6) 77(50) 70(14) 290 T31 Hye Jin Choi (R) + 4 72(26) 71(15) 78(56) 71(25) 292 T35 So Young Lee + 5 74(52) 74(46) 75(29) 70(14) 293 - Yae Eun Hong (A) + 5 73(40) 66(1) 76(44) 78(68) 293 T62 Ha Na Jang + 11 73(40) 74(46) 79(63) 73(44) 299 Gyeol Park Celebrate Trophy Min Sun Kim Seon Woo Bae Da Yeon Lee Ji Hyun Kim Great week for mini-Rocket Ju Young Park Eun Soo Jang, both bundled up and in juicy fruit original Rookie Ji Yoon Kim Good grief! Congratulation to Gyeol Park for her first win. I am not so sure that she is the "Living Doll of The Fairways." Although she has been treated like one while playing mediocre golf.
Watching Min Sun5 Kim putt I kind of figured that eventually she would loose the lead. Anyway this is one of her best finishes lately.
Ju Young Pak just didn't have a lot of luck with her putts. They were not inside the ten foot range. But she had a lot of putts inside the twenty foot range that she just missed. A good tournament for her never the less.

Just a quick correction: although Gyeol Park beat He Yong Choi by 11 shots today, she came from 8 shots back, not 11. Still a pretty amazing comeback.
I wouldn't call Gyeol 'mediocre'; she is definitely in the upper half of the players on tour. But, it's still a pretty big surprise that she pulled this off. Yes, she got some big help from Choi and Min Sun Kim, but that takes nothing away from a great performance by Park. Congrats again to her!
