I've never attended a women's college golf tournament before, but Princeton is hosting one Sept. 29-30, so I might go. It got me to think about Kelly Shon...still can't believe she did four years there...I'm sure she could have gone to at least a hundred other schools where should could have played and practiced a lot more and studied a lot less!!!! As a pro, she played decently for 2015-17, but 2018 was mostly a disaster. After bombing out in Portland, her season appears to be over...she got into only one major (KPMG) and she can forget about playing the fall Asian swing. I'm guessing she won't qualify for the CME (which she has never played). At # 131 on the official money list, does that mean she's gotta play the Q-series to retain her current status?
The Trentonian has a few articles on her over the years written by this columnist...the most recent in June at the Shop-Rite/Acer:
The article says she changed coaches this year...that might explain a lot. I don't know what her current golf routine is...she posts very little on social media. Twelve months ago she was practicing at Trump Ferry Point...don't know about now. I first saw her a 2009 USWO qualifier...or maybe I saw only her bag, which said Kelly Woojeong Shon...she had Miura irons.

According to her Instagram, she has begun a new chapter in her life. This is her new cubicle at The Carlyle Group, an investment firm. From Fairways & Greens to Standard & Poor's...

mnmlistgolfr Kelly did well by joining the Carlyle Group, the second biggest Private Equity Company in the world. Kelly made $579,205 in four years with LPGA; she can double that the next four years with Carlyle. By the way, did you ask HappyFan to rescind his ban of mr3putt? May be he will listen to you.

It's OK, I'll go back to my suspension once mr3putt is on board. But, either you or mr3putt needs to honor our 2018 bet; Nasa beat Megan handily.

I didn't post from Jan-Feb, 2019.

mnmlistgolfrSorry, I didn’t know you were honoring the bet but I’ll take your words for it. I’ll serve out my suspension once mr3putt is back on the forum.

Thanks for your input! I'm still leaning towards not reinstating him at this time. I really did give him a zillion chances to reform before I suspended him, but he didn't show much willingness to do that.

Regardless of what happens with mr3putt these ridiculous bets should be done away with. They hurt participation in the forum.

No snarky stuff from Van City re MHL for the last 12 months...that works for me...I have no problem with maintaining the ban.
