I was in a local mall recently and they are opening a Tony Moly store there in a few months (the signage is up but the store is still under construction)! Apparently it's a cosmetics company. We have a lot of Koreans and East Asians living in Seattle, so it's hardly the first such store, but it was interesting to see it in a mall next to your usual Zaras and Gaps.

Wow, Soo Yun Kang finally throwing in the towel! I still remember following her for her only career LPGA win at the 2005 Safeway in Portland. What a week! Koreans finished 1-2-3-4-T5 that week! Kind of a huge difference from what happened last week...

It's amazing that SY Kang said in a translated Korean article that she didn't enjoy golf until after she turned 30. My regular online JLPGA sources have not reported the retirement announcement.

Yeah, just down the street from me is a Korean beauty products store; there's a big sign in the window advertising Korean makeup and cosmetics, so it must be a thing that extends beyond just Korea.
