Minjee's Korean (mixed with English) interview after Round Three:
She seems a lot more animated and giggly in this Korean interview. Her GC interviews are practically devoid of personality.

Judy mentioned in the telecast yesterday that SoYeon's issues might be partly attributed to the physio tape she had on her neck. Anyone know what that was all about?

I didn't see any tape on her neck when I followed her on Friday. Not sure what might have happened.

I didn't see any tape on her neck when I followed her on Friday. Not sure what might have happened. So Yeon makes her share of birdies, why is she making so many bogeys. I hope she fixes what wrong before the Evian Masters. I would sure like to see her make a run for the title, or better yet win it.

Just checked So Yeon's score again after hole thirteen, same-oh-same-oh. Five birdies, two double bogeys and one bogey. Two double bogeys on two par threes, would love to seen how she did that. Oh well it is what it is, doesn't take anything from the fact that she is a great golfer. She will fix whatever it is, because she is also a smart golfer and person.

Somebody might be changing those Vegas odds! "Sorry, but what is the Vegas Over/Under on when Marina folds up like a $3 suitcase?"
Well its a final, Marina wins. All the talk about Georgia overtaking JinYoung should slow down. . .
Remember early on, all they could talk about was how Hannah Green was going to give JinYoung some real competition. Then when that fizzled out, they turned to Emma Talley as being the one who would test JinYoung. Then that fizzled out. Then after Ricoh, all we heard was how Georgia would win Cambia and then Evian and overtake JinYoung.

Congratulations to Marina Alex. She has knocked on the door a lot, with no luck. She took it on herself and forced her way in. Great final round to secure the win.

The LET Tour website had Jeong Eun6 entered. They had her Rolex Ranking at 30, but she is ranked 28, must be an old ranking. Jeong Eun5 is ranked sixty six. Jeong Eun6 turned pro in 2015 and Jeong5 before that.

Thanks, that makes sense. We all know Lucky 6 is not 29 years old. I was suspicious also because I saw Stacy Lewis and Ai Miyazato as entrants. No way. . .

Could have generated a lot of fan interest for women’s golf in the States if she’d have worn a ribbon.
I hope she’s missed her last Solheim team.

Also a big shout out to Ayako Uehara. Solid third place finish. Good to see her and Yokomine both have their moments of good play this year. I hope Japan developes more quality players like Nasa. I hated it when Momoko left. . . https://www.instagram.com/p/BhOEI_cHu7R

I forgot to mention the top ten for ex USC Trojan Robyn Ree. Every good finish helps her player status next year.
Korean players has six different winners and eight total wins.

Congrats to Marina Alex on a convincing win. This one ain't going in the photo album for the Sisters, that's for sure. In Gee, So Yeon, Inbee, Chella, Mirim and Mi Hyang all were pretty mediocre on the final day. Minjee absolutely coughed it up, with a 77. Youch! She still hung on for a top five, but my word, that has to be one of her worst final rounds when in contention in recent memory. If it had been So Yeon ahead of her on the leaderboard, she probably would have shot a 62... At least Mirim and Chella hung on for top tens, and nice final day for Su Oh to get there as well, but I sure hope the Evian is going to produce some better golf from the Sisters. I'm always hopeful, but it's hard to see a lot of positives to cling on to this week. I'm glad Hall didn't win, but she still finished second, which will help her standing against Jin Young. JY needs to show everyone who is boss at the Evian! Sisters hwaiting!
