Miss Oh saved her round with birdies on 17 & 18. The one on 17 was a monster putt. Her round had been in the doldrums with 2 double bogeys. Finishing at -2 keeps her in contention.

Lee So Young has been playing well. Didn't she place second in the Rookie of the Year race to one of our favorites? I remember her playing well with Jin Young just a few weeks ago, so no surprise she is leading. . . https://www.instagram.com/p/BQUg6xpj89g L

Good first round by Jeong Eun6 Lee. She made two great up and downs for par. From way right of the green and a great bunker shot on eighteen. Which she almost holed out. Jessica was all over the course, five bogeys and three birdies.

I'm switching back-and-forth between some old Genesis concerts on Youtube and this tournament...and when I switch to the golf, Cyborg Hye Jin Choi is either driving it into the rough, hitting out of the rough, hitting a downhill pitch out of a rocky outcropping, hitting out of a bunker, etc....amazingly, she is -2. Change that to -1 as she just made a bogey putt.
Lucky there are no style points on the scorecard...SW Bae's skort is NOT working for me.
HoJo Kim looks frustrated with her game...she should not be +3 against the minor leaguers.
They showed a pre-recorded interview of the amateur Lim by Kyeong Bae...ugh, KB left the LPGA too soon, she looks superb.
Oh boy, another crappy iron by Choi...I'm going back to Genesis.

Miss Oh saved yet another round with a birdie on the 9th (her 18th). She missed three straight birdie chances on 5-7 (her 14th-16th) and then bogeyed 8 (her 17th) after missing a long birdie chance, then the final birdie to put her at -6 and right in contention. JeongEun was up and down but finished at a -5. SoYoung held the lead for the pros with a -2 round and a total of -7. The amateur HeeJung Lim was leading however with a -5 round and a total of -9. https://www.instagram.com/p/BnI6c6VDXip

Round 2 Not quite done, but I'm going to bed. The top ten should be pretty much like this by the end of the round. 1 Lim HeeJung(A) -9 68 - 67 135 2 Lee So Young -7 67 - 70 137 3 Oh Ji Hyun -6 70 - 68 138 4 Lee Jeong Eun 6 -5 68 - 71 139 T5 Bae Seon Woo -4 70 - 70 140 - JANG EUN SOO -4 68 - 72 140 T7 Cecilia Cho -3 71 - 70 141 - Kim So Yi -3 70 - 71 141 - Park Ju Young -3 73 - 68 141 - HEO DABEEN -3 68 - 73 141 Notables: T14 Korda Jessica -1 74 - 69 143 - Shin Jenny -1 71 - 72 143 T26 Nelly Korda +1 73 - 72 145 - Ji Eun-Hee +1 74 - 71 145 T40 Choi Hye Jin +2 72 - 74 146 Great leaderboard! An amateur at the top, some of the tour's biggest stars lurking, and two second year starlets (Heo and Jang) in uncharted territory for them. Amateur Hee Jung Lim Seon Woo Bae So Young Lee Da Been Heo Hyo Joo Kim Hyo Joo Yoo Ji Hyun Oh -- she drove the par four 10th hole and one putted for eagle. Not a common occurrence on the KLPGA! Jeong Eun Lee 6 Hye Jin Choi Ji Hyun Kim A Lim Kim Da Yeon Lee Hye Sun Kim Ha Na Jang Hyun Min Pyun Nelly Korda Jenny Shin Seung Hyun Lee Chae Young Yoon Keun Yeung An Shin Ae Ahn So Hyun Bae Char Young Kim Jung Min Lee

Hanwha Second Round Highlights.
Hye Jin Choi was minus three on her front nine. Then an impostor took her place on the back nine. Five bogeys no birdies , as her ball striking were the worse ever. Jeong Eun6 should have scored lower. She was a little too aggressive on some of her short putts.

SBS starting an hour earlier tonight. Jessica just teed off at 11:06. Jinny Shin also a recent tee off. Looking great by the way.
OK folks, the real show is about to begin. Tee-off time for the top three. . . .thankfully the cameras will also keep an eye on the group in front which includes JeongEun.
Four hours into the round and the score is this: JeongEun is back! She's made 5 birdies in the first 12 holes, no bogeys (-10). SoYoung is keeping pace with 3 birdies of her own and no bogeys. The amateur is +2 for the round(thru 12) and at -7 is in third place. SeungHyun is the other player on fire with a -5 and is fourth at the 16th hole. JiHyun is the real loser so far making four straight bogeys(9 thru 12), and is in 6th place at -4.

3RD Highlights I only watched Jeong Eun6 first ten holes, and she played great. The last hole I watched, she missed a short birdie putt. I guess that was an indication of how the rest of the round would go. She was even par after that with one birdie and one bogey.
Hye Jin did finish the round, plus four and plus six total.
Jenny Shin was playing great early, but finished the last seven holes with five bogeys.

An endless procession of orange umbrellas is following the last group. Are they hot sellers or are they given away for nothing? Or is this part of the uniform for the Hanwha employees "voluntarily" attending this event? (reminds me of the blue t-shirt lemmings following Stacy Lewis at the 2015 KPMG).
BTW, the Lucky Lioness birdied #10 & 11 and saved par at #12, leads by six...this event is so over that the Board of Health should shut it down early before it starts to stink. The only question unanswered is whether or not Whan's plot to discourage her from doing final stage LPGA q-school by making it two straight weekends in Oct./Nov. has worked.
