Shackleford is recommending Whan to replace Bevacqua. After 8 years I'm sure he's ready for something new. I wouldn't be surprised if Bevacqua recommends Whan, those guys seem to get along.
So who will be the next LPGA Commissioner? Abbott has been stuck in his position for years without a promotion to a regular PGA Tour announcer...he might as well go all in with the LPGA and become commish. He'd be a decent choice.
