Rainy conditions on Sunday, but not severely as 22 of the top-25 players on the leaderboard are under par today. I want to see the Yangster take this one away from Curley Culp.

So Yeon did not have a good day today. She also missed out on at least a top ten. But not all that bad after three weeks of not playing. Still good practice before the Major.
Jin Young minus seven on the weekend got her a top five. Kudos to Haeji Kang for a top five finish as well. She is making the best of her limited status this year. Great to see her playing well again.

Ariya has converted the last eight times she's led after 54 holes.

I've got to admit that from the very first second I turned on this broadcast I just knew Ariya was going to win, which made the whole thing pretty boring (I was unspoiled, hadn't looked at the scores at all). Sometimes you just know it's going to be a snoozer. I predicted what would happen on 18, too, pretty much shot-for-shot. I could have stood it better if more of my favorites played decently. So Yeon just didn't have it going on; she was in bunkers, lipped out makable birdies, the works. And she missed a top ten by the slightest of margins; this could be the first season in her LPGA career with fewer than 10 top tens. Inky scratched out a top ten with far from her best stuff. Amy was just terrible at the end. Haeji was OK until it looked like she might have a chance, then she went south. Jin Young was just about the only highlight; great putt on 18. But otherwise this was a slog. The plus side is that at least this week there were a bunch of Sisters in contention, unlike at the Marathon, and though only Minjee really had a chance to win, several more notched top fives. I'm especially glad to see Inky have a good week to prepare for next week's title defense. Sisters Hwaiting!

I knew the result, but while watching the replay, of the 72nd hole after both girls hit into the green, I actually double-checked. As they walked up to the green it certainly felt like a Minjee win brewing. Ariya snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

If So Yeon had a little more luck with bounces or putts. She could have easily gotten a top ten.
Anyway congratulation to Ariya for her third win of the year. Unless something drastic happen, Player of The Year and the Money Title is hers.
