I am really surprised that Karis Davidson is not in the field. While a few of the "names" are in Alabama, she had a legit chance to run wild this week. Her swing is money on this tour. Maybe she and Hannah Green are fangirling Karrie Webb at Shoal Creek, just like they did at Bedminster last year.
Minami Katsu, Saki Nagamine and Chae Young Yoon
Saiki Fujita and Ah Reum Hwang

This streaming link for Round Two just started, but it's not live:
UPDATE: Wow, I never saw Sky Kim hit a 30-handicap banana ball with her driver, but it just happened.

There must be a reason Karis Davidson is sightseeing in Kobe instead of playing.

Someone is streaming this live on Youtube now, but the video and sound quality is amateur city...unwatchable...I'll wait for a quality replay to be posted later.
The peasants are greeting Queen Shiho on the way to the first tee...all that's missing is a red carpet...and she is laying down the law, -3 on her first four holes, leads by two shots at -9.

Final Round Highlights, Shiho Oyama wins for the 18th time with a club caddie Her former caddie is currently doing the rounds for Nasa Hataoka on the LPGA www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLR2bW06glMFor 18 Majors, Karis is in Kobe for endorsement opportunities as well as next weeks event the Suntory Ladies Open is played in Kobe. I believe Ai Miyazato is teeing it up. Towards the end she hugs her Australian coach, there seems to be a handful of Australian caddies and coaches on the JLPGA.

Shiho rolled in a mile of putts on the front nine...looks like a TaylorMade spider-type putter...I bought a used belly version of one many years ago...I should get the shaft cut down or replaced.

A translated article mentions her "guts pose" on the greens (above)...this looks common on the LPGA, but not in Japan? Maybe she picked that up from her days in the U.S. Here's an interesting quote from the same article:
Momoko Ueda says. "Oyama is very good at making a sense of unity with the gallery, letting fans think" to do something. "I think that it is amazing to be able to move people's feelings through guts pose, including galleries, "I am impressed.

I'm looking forward to seeing the WITB article, which should be posted soon. Although she's a Yamaha staffer, one source says she has no Yamaha gear in her bag this year.
