So Yeon is off to a slow start this year, like she did two years ago. That year she had a new swing, this year a different caddie. They may not be on the same page, or her game isn't quite there yet. She is smart and talented, so nothing to worry about.
Ironic that Jeong Eun5 and Lucky6 is paired together. Jeung Eun6 climbed her way back to even par. But she made bogey on the last two holes to finish +2.
Still wondering if the Ji Hyun playing is not Ji Hyun2. Ji Hyun Kim is playing the KLPGA next week and Ji Hyun2 isn't.

Brooke was really shaky with her putting today allowing the field to pull close.
Did you see Hyo Joo Kim's ace? Mark Rolfing noted that she was carrying her putter with her when she grabbed her ball out of the hole. Wonder why? Did her caddie give it to her out of habit?

Round 3 For those wondering, the Ji Hyun Kim who is in the field this week *is* Ji Hyun Kim 2. Not to be confused with Ji Hyun Kim (1), who won on the KLPGA last week. Grant or whoever was wrong when he claimed that this was that Ji Hyun Kim. Anyway, Ji Hyun Kim 2 is having a fine week, and has put herself close enough to the lead to have an outside chance of capturing the win. That's thanks to Henderson, who had a really rough few closing holes to fall back to the field. Jeong Eun Lee 6 barely made the cut, but shot a 67 today and is now only 6 back. Not a likely win, but certainly could caputre a top ten with a strong finish. The Sister in the best position right now is Inbee. Just two back, she'll be in the penultimate group tomorrow. She's going to have to play a trifle better to win this; she's still not quite been at A level so far this week. But if she can make a few putts early she can quickly put pressure on the field. So Yeon shot a third straight 72, but for what it's worth, this was a shakier round than the first two. Hopefully she can rally to a top ten. Nice ace by Hyo Joo Kim! No car, though. Go Sisters!!! Inbee Ji Hyun Kim 2 5 vs. 6 Hyo Joo made her sponsor proud Hee Young Park sponsored by Indiana State University? Sei Young Kim Chella Choi Minjee Lee

As I said in the beginning is that Ji Hyun Kim2 is sponsored by Lotte and not Ji Hyun. So why would Ji Hyun be invited and Ji Hyun2 not be invited. As I was fast forwarding through the tournament, they finally showed her. I don't understand why the LPGA doesn't include the Korean players full name. Especially if there are two whose names are similar.
So Yeon first three rounds is not great but unusual. Her third straight even par round, was three bogeys front nine, three birdies back nine.
After a slow start, Jeong Eun6 is climbing the leaderboard.

I assume Lampshade gets a 25% cut of the SS Feng's caddie budget...it's only fair. No reason to be on the edge of your seat...I have the video on my PC, but I'm barely watching it...the ECP has a lock on this one. Forget about seeing Lucky 6 or Jenny from The ROK on TV, unfortunately.

So Yeon.... even when she doesn't have a great tournament. She always come up with something noteworthy. Four rounds of even par 72. She didn't want to over achieve or under achieve, just have an average tournament. "Onward and upward".
I think Sung Hyun Park will rethink playing in a tournament with high winds. Either that or learn to flight her ball lower. Which would be a bad thing to do for two or three tournaments. Where wind is a factor.

Round 4 Wow, another bummer of a tournament for the Sisters in 2018. Inbee Park has had good finishes (a t-3rd here), but she just didn't play well today. It would have probably been pretty hard to beat Henderson the way she was playing, but Inbee made it easier for her to be sure. Her driving kept putting her into tricky spots, she was not getting it anywhere close to the flag, and her putting was not getting the job done, either. The most painful part was how the #1 slipped out of her fingers on the final hole thanks to a lipout from short range and Feng making an unlikely birdie on the same hole right in front of her. Sigh. The good news is, at least she's getting good results. That's her third top three of the year, and she might be able to get that #1 soon. With luck, she will start to blast the rust off herself in the next few events and will come into May playing top notch Inbee Park golf. At least Inbee did well. The other top Koreans all struggled. So Yeon of course had a fourth straight 72. Sung Hyun was nowhere (though, to be fair, this was not a course that set up well for her). Sei Young was never a factor, and In Gee and Jin Young had to drop out. It fell to a pair of KLPGA golfers and Eun Hee Ji to make the only other top 20s. That's now four events this year with terrible results for the Sisters. They won the other three, and you could argue the ANA was all right, with Inbee not in A form but still barely missing her 8th Major only thanks to a once-in-a-lifetime performance from Lindberg. But right now there are too many top Koreans struggling. We need one or two besides Inbee to step up with their A game in the next month. Sister Hwaiting! Inbee Ji Hyun Kim 2 Hyo Joo Kim -- she came a foot away from acing the same par three a second day in a row. Jenny Shin So Yeon Ryu -- surprise, a 72! Chella Choi Hee Young Park Minjee Lee Sei Young Kim Jeong Eun Lee 6
