SBS Golf does a great job week in and week out providing many hours of live coverage.
This FAKE major is kind of a JOKE...especially for a supposed golf crazed country, Korea. Shouldn't a national Open be played at various great courses within a country on a rotating basis vs. being played on the same boring cow pasture without rough. The USGA shut down Erin Hills starting in Sept/Oct according to Stricker....and offering a $850,000 1st place prize in the USWO. Huh...the gals are playing for an approx. low purse of $1M US???....WTF.

Cyborg will tee of 12:20 AM EST...I'll stay up for her first hole and that's it. She's grouped with JY Ko and Ji Hyun Kim. Bethany had a 74 (+2). The Hulk shot 72. Sharon had a 75.

It is humiliating for Korea to pretend they have majors. Unless the good players are there, this is just a poor man's Symetra Tour event.
When will Korea stop being a training ground for the LPGA and JLPGA? I'm not sure why ROK continues to bow down to its master. Kick the USA out of your country and stand on your own two feet.

Candidate for post of the year.....tru dat. The KLPGA is minor league...their top players defect to the LPGA & JLPGA. As I've always said...the Koreans are poor at execution....e.g.) no logo visor Dumbo and Se Ri in the past. If not for the Japanese .....and the Koreans cheating AGAIN to pirate and copy stuff after patent expirations...there would be no Hyundai/Kia, LG, Samsung, etc. China will inherit Korea in 20 years.

I dozed off after Cyborg played the first hole...now I'm up and she's +1 thru ten on the online scoreboard. My streaming seems to have died mid-round, so I can go to bed for sure. They invited Aussie am Becky Kay, who is +2 thru 12 holes...nice IG: https://www.instagram.com/p/BVUQhAyhNiG

Jin Young and Dean don't seem to communicate that well anymore. Her club selections has not been that great this year. He may also need a rest because he hasn't been moving to well lately.

Again...another example of poor execution by the Koreans. Nice tie....LMAO. Se Ri looks like a school boy at a Catholic Prep school.

Shin Ae Ahn is on a huge Adidas billboard behind the 13th tee box. I can't recall seeing advertising involving a player like that at a golf tournament before. From Round One: Jeong Eun Lee 6 just teed off at #13 and I also saw a life-size cutout figure of Ahn there, too. I can imagine Nike doing that for Tiger Woods during one of his slum tours through Asia. Meanwhile, Sharon is +4 on her first 13 holes (started at #1), +7 overall at T-73.

Sharon with her cutout at #13. Another 72 makes Hye Jin Choi the low am so far.
