What a revolting idea. Let someone into a golf tournament based on her looks and body. Of course, Blair O'Neal, the most well known will win easily.

Paige Spiranac turned down an offer to be part of the poll.
Cue Chris Rock joke: my only job as a father is to keep my daughter off the poll.

Obviously, there will be no suspense as O'Neal should win easily. Too bad Spirinac took a pass, because she would make it a close race with Blair. I never heard of Benavides before...after reviewing her Instagram, yup, she has the mandatory "visuals" to be in this contest. She played the LPGA's Yokohama Tire Classic in 2015....since the tournament is defunct, I had to look up her scores (77-75-152 MC) on a Japanese golf website...good job, LPGA.

What a crock of shit.
Ol Don knew this season was going to be an all-timer when he saw Wie show up in a choker and it's gone downhill from there.

There are all sorts of good US amateurs. Some pretty, some not. Why not give one of them a chance?

I'd vote for Hyeonjoo Ryu, but she's too talented at playing golf to qualify for their list...

Golf Channel has an article with more details: Sponsor invite via Twitter PollNow this what I (don't) call growing the game: In other words, all they care about is the four with the most twitter followers. Here are their Instagram stats: O'Neal 186K Nicollet 107K Booth 62.4K Benavides 20.7K So what is this company's sophisticated formula? Here are some real, actually talented golfers who are also beautiful and not LPGA members who have a comparable number of followers on Instagram to some of these 'top four': Bo Mee Lee 115K Shin Ae Ahn 63.1K Ha Neul Kim 58.4K Hyeonjoo Ryu 20.4K It took me twenty seconds to prove these idiots who chose that list aren't worth a plugged nickel. "Sophisticated formula" my candy a**.

Will be interesting to see who in the Golf Industrial Complex has marching orders to support this and who is afraid to say anything.
Everybody in golf media is scared of the Spieths.
I bet this just rolls through with nobody but the Twitteratti saying it's a horrible idea.

I voted for Booth based on her higher Rolex ranking. I didn't even see Sharmila listed.

I voted for Booth based on her higher Rolex ranking. I didn't even see Sharmila listed. That is strange she's not listed in the RR. Susy Benevides is ranked 1245 out of 1260 players listed.
