This would be such a fun and gong show event to attend....is there anyone who is not carrying around a beer? They talk a lot of gals wearing high heels but I don't see them in the gallery...maybe they just hang out in the sky boxes or hospitality tents. This event must be a pain getting to and leaving the venue. I'm not shocked....tons of tickets being dumped on Craigslist.....I've seen GA tickets as low as $15....Mon & Tues are free...that's nice. This event really demonstrates how minor league the LPGA is vs. the PGA tour.....last year set a record attendance of 618,000 fans....200,000 alone on Sat. The Founders is lucky to get 40,000....though I read one year they got 65,000 which I'm calling BS. I attended the 2013 Safeway...the below said 71,500 fans attended...that's BS....I think maybe 20,000 attended and that's a stretch....Bravedave was there...he can validate....there were maybe 500 tops...following the final group on Sunday....with Yani choking I decided just to chat with ol_68 and Cougar in the volunteer/standard bearer/walking scorers tent. www.oregonlive.com/golf/index.ssf/2013/09/safeway_classic_tournament_dra.html

I was reviewing comments about the W/M on GolfWRX. I was not aware that the craziness doesn't really start until the 16th hole...and the front nine is like another golf course and tournament. Fanofseri may have some insights on the ANA when they used to get a huge turnout of Lesbians...how rowdy was it back then? The events I've been to since 2005 are staid affairs, which is fine by me...all I remember are a couple of beery biker-type women whooping it up loudly for Laura Davies at one of matchplays at Hamilton Farm. I've never attended a Sunday round at the Seaview...on a tiny scale, they do "stadium golf" at the 18th green...grandstands on both sides, "luxury" box behind it, and the Shop-Rite pavilion a stones throw away. I was at the final round of the PGA Tour's '94 Travelers in CT...it may have been around that time when the term "stadium golf" was being used in connection with the various TPC golf courses on tour. David Frost made his victory comments from the 18th green via the PA system, but I was nowhere near him. I was up on a hill overlooking the last three holes around the water. I wish I had a camera to take a picture from there...I'll bet the infrastructure has only gotten bigger since. When I saw how slow the cars were leaving the parking lot, I just sat in mine and read every word of the Sunday newspaper and waited for everyone to leave...yeah, it took a LONG time.

Huh?......no mention of attending the 2 USO's or 2 Fedex playoffs at Bethpage Black. Have you played it?...it's cheap for NYS residents and reasonable for non-residents. It really goes to show how minor league the LPGA is....they've never played at Bethpage Black, Pebble, Whistling Straits, Kiawah and I doubt they'll return to Torrey. Maybe the GREAT Man's sons will them onto Doral and play the Pure Silk there.

Huh?......no mention of attending the 2 USWO's or 2 Fedex playoffs at Bethpage Black. Actually, I've been to three USWOs and number four will be in July. Your initial post focused mostly on the rowdiness...while the USWOs have much bigger crowds than you average LPGA event, they are still tranquil...haven't seen anyone tossing beer cups on the greens.

Typo...I meant two USO's at Bethpage not USWO. I would have loved to have been at Lancaster.....apart from Lancaster and Cherry Hills....the USWO's attendance has been lame....that why the women's majors are FAKE.....heck the some of the CWO have larger galleries than a lot of the women's FAKE majors. Most LPGA events are like the cemeteries that Se Ri slept in.....I don't understand why they need so many marshalls.....the LPGA events can be self policing....besides....a lot of vols are fools anyways.....CLUELESS.....the best vols I've encountered were at the 2007 CWO. Many vols just stand there. At the Safeway one year, about 50 people were waiting to get Gulbis and Pressel to sign autographs....and Gulbis said...." don't worry. we'll sign for everyone'...yet an older Asian guy kept on shoving his hat in front of Gulbis and Pressel....I told the old guy in a very stern voice......"quit shoving your hat into their face....they already said they sign for everyone....back off".....Gulbis smiled and said thank you. But the LPGA is so tame compared to the PGA...it's very pathetic watching grown men shoving a kid aside to get an autograph...how pathetic. I've yet to see an overly drunk patron at an LPGA event...nor any incident close to a fight....if anything...they should assign more vols to stalker assignments.

Yanks are too fat and lazy to walk more than 500 yards unless they have access to a scooter. .....yet you'll see the Korean fans walking all 18 holes on the very hilly KLPGA courses. Seems like a lot of fans around the front 9 from what I'm seeing on TV...ya can't always believe what you read on WRX where everyone drives over 330 yds, hits their 5W 275 yds and 7 iron 210 yds.

Nice Mr3putt, making fun of disabled people. I remember not so long ago, you storming out of the MyLPGA (Rusty's Playhouse) site like a school room sissy, some of your postings here remind of you know who(db,Blue). I'll bet you're a nice guy in person and would love to walk a few rounds with you, on this site, the type of guy after a few minutes, throw down a flight of stairs.

You mean the same disabled people like the woman riding the scooter in this vid who was magically healed to start a fist fight in the below youtube vid...LMAO....LUV Merica. Or the disabled old guy (some Gulbis greatest fan) at the 2012 CN CWO who was riding around in a scooter and then would park it on the path and walk up to each green to get a closer look at the action. Or the old Chinese guy at Fraserview GC here who parked his SUV in a handicap spot....yet was perfectly fine to walk to the pro shop get a cart, walk around the practice green putting and practice swinging.....yet when I asked him why he was parked in a handicap spot he told me he had a bad back...and I replied if you had a bad back...golf is one of the worst things for back issues and when I lifted my pant leg and showed him my plastic ankle foot orthotic to aid my right leg paralysis due to a skiing accident and said I need not park in a handicap spot and nor should he...he replied...."maybe I should get a better doctor to write me a note to get a handicap tag". I replied...."it's Chinese like you who give us a bad rap in Vancouver" I stood 10 yds from him on the 1st tee and watched him cold top his drive 30 yards...I said..."Have a great game"....yes....I can be a dbag. Face it...DB & Blue caused many to quit Rusty's Playhouse. I have to give credit where credit is due...it was SJX at Rusty's Playhouse who started the initial Yank bashing....so I've decided to join in the fun...and fun it is. But I like you Mericans...I really do....and I wear this hat I bought on eBay from China....only $3.28 US free shipping too when I've gone to the range or played golf this winter.....we've had a lousy fall and winter and it just snowed 7" today...WTF. Yes....I'm sure we'd enjoy along with many laughs playing some golf...then you can make fun of my sissy golf game. Enjoy the vid. Here's another vid of Costanza too.

Korean & Us Am Champ, An, is a co-leader after 36 holes....I saw him at Chambers.... he's a big guy...not your typical scrawny Asian. Hideki gagged choked from 132 yds on 18.
A record today....169,000...that's whacked....they expect to beat 201,000 tomorrow.
