Sung Hyun Park has jumped out ahead again -8. Mi Hyang -5.
My favorite Jin Young Ko putts like my favorite So Yeon. Misses too many short putts.
On the other hand Sung Hyun makes everything. She also got some lucky bounces when she hit it crooked. When you are playing well they seem to happen.

No matter who wins the Olympics, a big fat asterisk will be needed next to her name. She didn't have to beat The Terminator. Hopefully, they can iron out the qualification system before Tokyo 2020.

In Gee had a better year last year than SHP (so far), and some thought she will turn the LPGA upside down. She hasn't. SHP is a up and coming star for sure. But that's about it, for now.

IGC will turn the LPGA upside down if she wins Gold. I forgot to mention, a double asterisk will be needed because she didn't beat Terminator or Terminator Jr., affectionately known as Junior.

These pansy Korean guys need to MAN UP. If the KLPGA wants to be considered a REAL tour...they've got to ban pull carts.....very bush league.
They can't carry a bag...yet we still see Bully (70 yrs old)....Fluff (68 yrs old), Rosa Grenada, Brit Henderson, etc lugging the bag.

Here is my thoughts about Sung Hyun being in the Olympics. First she isn't even close to what In Gee did last year. Winning majors in three different country along with her other wins in Korea.
Instead, I am going to write about a player that didn't make the Olympic Team, SO Yeon Ryu First of all when she played on the KLPGA the players were a lot better. She still manage to win nine or ten times, against players like Ja Shin, Ha Neul Kim He Kyung Seo and Na Yeon Choi.
Oh by the way she also won the USWO. Her rookie year on the LPGA she had sixteen top tens and one win. She ran away with Rookie of the Year, beating Lexi Thompson by 600 points. Her second year she also had ten top tens and a win. Her only problem has been her inability to finish tournaments.
If Sung Hyun can manage a record like that against competition outside of Korea. Maybe she can make the Olympic Team. Until then I would not put her above the top six.

One correction: NYC's last full season on the KLPGA was 2007 and SYR didn't turn pro until 2008. Otherwise, point well-taken, although you left out one monster competitor, Bo Mee Lee, who was the KLPGA's scoring champ in 2010 and 2011. Hye Youn Kim and Sharon 1.0 were not chumps, either. ****** They're not re-pairing the players for round two. The broadcast should include the first hole tee shots of The Terminator & JY Ko (12:10 PM KST) and MHL (1:10 PM KST). It's funny how Mi Hyang's name is in English on the Korean version of the KLPGA online scoreboard...like she's a visitor from Mars. I wonder who has her bag this week...my guess is a local looper.

I must have been thinking of another Choi who was pretty good. Don't know how I could have missed Bo Mee. She was just as popular on the KLPGA as she is on the JLPGA.
I didn't get to see Mi Hyang last night. Hope to see her tonight.

Time will tell if the Terminator is as good as I think. Time will tell.

Time will tell if the Terminator is as good as I think. Time will tell. And time will tell if her back eventually gives out from her swing.

The Choi you are thinking of is He Yong Choi, who beat Ryu for Rookie of the Year on the KLPGA. So Yeon had the far more successful career, though!

I got up for about the last 90 minutes for the broadcast. It's fairly obvious that this is a resort course intended to make the holiday hackers look good...no danger off the tee...big soft greens with minimal break. The 18th is a par-5 with no bunkers around the green. The Terminator(64-65) is having her way, which included a hole-out at the par-4 17th hole, but she will not get better playing golf courses like this. We laugh about Cordevalle, but she shot 74-74 on the weekend. Mi Hyang is playing great...2nd place, four shots back at -11 with two holes left to play...although she looks bored. The big news is that she is NOT playing an orange ball, which I have never seen before while she has been a pro. She has a Volvik bag, so I assume she hasn't dumped them. She might be playing the white version of the S3, or maybe she switched to the white version of the Volvik Vibe. What is wrong with Jung Min Lee? She has played like garbage in the last two months. Her wedge shot third at #18 was pathetically poor, then followed it with a three-putt. I assume MHL employed a local this week.
